Jessica R. Buchman grew up in a small town near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was always keeping busy, her mom constantly said - “a busy kid is a happy kid.” - Jessica took that quote and ran with it - from competing in various styles of dance for over 15 years to mastering her 1st degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do. She also took on the love of modeling at an early age from her involvement with her grandmothers boutique - being around the fashion trends, walking in fashion shows she felt at home.

Jessica studied computer science in college although she loved to get her hands encrypted in the latest software, she found herself spending her free time working on local campaigns, photoshoots and season one of Netflix Original Series Mindhunters. This led her to sign with her first agency in Ohio. She began taking several classes learning the ins and outs of the business to monologues, voice overs and her favorite - improv. 

Post graduation, Jessica had a chance to dabble in the TV and film industry. She landed a supporting role in her first short film, that led her to her first credit on IMDb. Additionally she gained industry experience with modeling advertisements for bridal magazines, Big Lots, fashion shows, and becoming a face for a female owned beauty brand. While building her portfolio, she eventually signed with two agencies for acting and commercial print.

Jessica now balances working at Apple and continues to build upon her love for acting and modeling. Her plan is to make a name for herself while creating a platform for others to have a voice and want to make a difference, just like her.
